Jay-Z is officially taking center stage at the 2027 Super Bowl halftime show, marking his first appearance as the event’s headlining performer.
The NFL, Apple Music, and Roc Nation confirmed the announcement on October 26 during Monday Night Football. The performance will take place February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
The announcement marks a new chapter in Jay-Z’s relationship with the NFL. His entertainment company, Roc Nation, has helped produce the halftime show and select its performers since partnering with the league in 2019.
The 25-time Grammy winner recently performed at SoFi Stadium as part of his Jay-Z 30 concert series, celebrating the 30th anniversary of Reasonable Doubt and the 25th anniversary of The Blueprint.
Jay-Z’s extensive catalog includes hits such as 99 Problems, Hard Knock Life, and Empire State of Mind featuring Alicia Keys.
The 2027 halftime performance will also follow previous appearances by major artists, including Rihanna, Usher, Kendrick Lamar, and Bad Bunny.
Additional performers and special guests have not yet been announced.
